Maj D (b. 1980) works with recycled materials and light, often inspired by astronomical phenomena such as stars and planets. She believes that waste versus art is only a matter of definition and application, and thus invites us with aesthetic techniques to refine our view of waste so that we see it as resources to help the materials continue in their rightful place.
